Food safety skills fund
Bursaries to enhance food safety skills and experience
Our Food Safety Skills Fund is open to our Knowledge Network members and aims to enhance members' skills, broaden their experience and create links between food safety professionals on the island of Ireland.
The fund allows for activities such as:
- Vsits to laboratories
- Attendance at conferences or centres of excellence
- Food safety training events.
We strongly promote cross-border and cross-sectoral exchanges and visits.
Bursaries
The fund provides bursaries up to a maximum of €1,700 or sterling equivalent (subject to vouched costs) where all travel or visits must be complete by the end of the current calendar year. Successful applicants shall be awarded on a first-come first-served basis until the fund has been exhausted.
